An aged male who was severely harmed after a collision with a train has upheld away.

Eric Taberner, 77, from Lancaster, suffered critical conduct injuries after he collided with a singular decker Stagecoach train on Parliament Street, Lancaster during 11.40am on July, 8

The North West Air Ambulance attended a stage though a orator suggested a male was taken to a Royal Lancaster Infirmary by road.

It is believed he was after eliminated to Royal Preston Hospital where he died today.

And Lancashire military urged anyone who was travelling on a train to get in touch.

Sgt Nigel Ralphson, of West Road Policing Unit, said: “We would like to pronounce with anyone on a train who didn’t yield their sum to officers during a time and any other witnesses who might have seen a collision though weren’t in a position to leave their details.”
