I adore my smartphone, yet when it comes to to-do lists, bullet journals, diaries and other note taking, we cite a good aged fashioned paper notebook. Putting a coop to paper and examination a cover turn ragged as it fills with info, ideas and memories creates me smile. I’m kind of a cover addict and am always prepared to supplement a new one to my collection. The latest cover underneath care is a Bull Stash Travel Stash notebook. Is it good, bad or somewhere in between? Let’s find out.

Bull Stash offer dual notebooks. The Stash that is 5.5″ x 8.75″ and a Travel Stash that they sent to me and is 3.4″ x 6″. The cover facilities an oiled leather cover with a Bull Stash trademark hammered into a bottom right corner.

The leather feels great. It is smooth, soothing and smells wonderful. But it is simply scuffed and scratched. If we have a problem with unlawful things, we won’t wish one of these notebooks. we indeed don’t mind leather that is simply marked. we consider a some-more it’s worn, a improved it looks. But we can know why  everybody competence not share this feeling.

The cover opens and lays flat. There’s a 30 page cover trustworthy on a right side by dual screws that go by a cover.

The screws give a cover an engaging look. yet they emanate a problem… a pages have to be folded over as we flip them and we can’t open a cover in a core and design it to lay flat.

The paper is #60 paper and comes in plain, lined and grid versions. we was sent a lined version. The pages are white with black lines on a front side of a paper. The behind side of a paper is blank.

Bull Stash contend that their notebooks are a final ones you’ll ever need since they are refillable. This is true. You can unscrew a screws and supplement some-more pages. However, refills are labelled during $5 for 50 pages (lined, vacant or grid). we suspect we could make your possess refills if we have a paper cutter, a hole punch and time.

The paper itself doesn’t feel most opposite than typical duplicate paper or propagandize cover paper. How does a paper reason adult to ink? we did a simple essay exam with a Kaweco AL Sport with a Pilot G2 refill and a Sharpie ultra excellent point permanent marker.

As we can see, a Sharpie bled through. Not startling though.

I like a demeanour of a Bull Stash Travel Stash notebook, since we adore leather. But as a notebook, it’s not something we would privately use since of a approach a paper is attached. we like a cover that can lay prosaic and stay open on a page I’m operative on. You can’t do that with this notebook. If you’re looking for a slot cover that we can use for discerning notes, a Bull Stash Travel Stash cover is apparently matched for that task. It’s only not ideal for a “working” cover since of a approach a pages are trustworthy and a cost for a refills.
