Mo Spring is located in Nghia Phuong Commune, Luc Nam District, Bac Giang Province, about 90km from Hanoi and 40km from Bac Giang City. This place contains two factors ecotourism and spiritual tourism with mountains, streams, waterfalls, and temples.
According to the legend, Suoi Mo temple is a shrine of Princess My Nuong Que who is daughter of Hung King IX. This princess had open lines of Mo Spring, teach people farming, livestock.
Every year on March 30th and April 2nd st lunar, local people organize a big festival to pray for good harvests, gratitude to Princess Mỵ Nuong Que. Tourist arrived in Bac Giang this occasion can join to a traditional festival with many funny games such as boating, archery, wrestling, swims, fighting chicken…
There are 3 temples, tourists can visit: Ha temple, Trung temple, Thuong temple. Each temple has unique architecture and solemn, sacred atmosphere. Local people will invite you to eat some rustic dishes, specialty fruits such as jackfruit, fabric, watermelon.
In addition, you also can discover the pristine natural scenery of this place. You will be attracted by white clear water line arched like a silk band melted from the mountains. There are green vast forests in two bank of the spring. This forests is very mystery and pristine where contains many rare trees such as Pine, Cedrus, Spruce. Walking through the forest, tourist will imagine that they are being in a fairy tale forest which is very pretty and mystery.
Along the winding road that leads up the stream, visitors will come across some famous destination such as Dau Dong Quan, Hon Trung temple, Ho Bac pagoda, Troi Xoan peak , Quan Ngua field, and Thum Thum waterfall. To come up to the top of waterfall, tourist must overcome 5 small and big water floors. The road is very dangerous, slippery and there are many rocks in the stream. Standing in the highest floor, visitor can see all the view of this place. Water flows from the top down to the rocky trails create a mighty and poetic scene.
After admiring the majestic scenery of mountain and forest, visitor can be refreshed by immersing in the blue, cool water under the natural bath waterfall.
In this Mo Spring tourism, visitor can go to some villages of ethnic groups: Nung, Tay, Cao Lan, San. Each ethnic group has its own cultural identity expressed through language, traditional costumes, routines, culinary culture, singing lyrics and the way they work.
In addition, tourists also enjoy some unique specialty which is bold flavor of this beautiful and peaceful land such as: 3 colors sticky rice, bean soy, Khau Nhuc…
