Purpose
The key objectives of the role are to;
1) Support the Deputy/Project Managers in the implementation of Security System designs to meet the requirement of the project specification and in accordance with the contract.
2) Ensure full implementation of the Inspection & Test Plan and Audit procedure throughout all sectional phases of the project.
3) Be the technical, practical interface throughout the project cycle.
4) Oversee subcontract/contract and supplier design submissions to ensure full compliance with the contract specification and requirements.
5) Support the project team in achieving compliance with the Clients specification and meeting the operational and business objectives of the project.
6) Ensure in conjunction with the planner that the programme is achievable and highlight critical path and key milestones.
Responsibilities and Activities
Include but are not limited to;
1) Put into practice the designed system architecture to the schematics/schedules
2) Follow and implement the technical brief and requirement for each discipline for procurement and contractual agreement with suppliers and subcontractors.
3) Provide technical input to ensure all systems interconnect and interface correctly
4) Be the main support to the Deputy Project Manager through the implementation phase of the project.
5) Implement tools and procedures that ensure compliance with detailed document control processes.
6) Identify and manage change.
7) In conjunction with the Deputy Project Manager, take the implementation role throughout the construction phase working with both internal and external teams to produce a fully integrated and co-ordinated completed system.
8) Be involved with progress meetings both internally and externally taking responsibility to document and record output and actions.
9) Take a coordination role in the construction progress meetings with Consultants/Contractors and produce actions and minutes for issue to all parties.
10) Engage with Potential Subcontractors , obtain at least three Quotations
11) Monitor the performance of Subcontractors and suppliers.
12) Manage the implementation of H&S requirements in accordance with current legislation and the procedures specified within the contract.
13) Implement measures to ensure compliance with the TechnoQ internal Quality Procedures and the Clients Quality assurance, process and procedures
14) Be fully engaged with the Commissioning/Handover process and documentation
Thereof.
15 Carry out weekly toolbox talks on a subject chosen by the Project Manager
Other:
Project Close out, Documentation, Snagging, Acceptance. Preparations of technical specs for sub contract tenders Assist in preparation the technical submissions; ensure that the shop drawings are controlled and latest revision. Ensure that the technical design documents are fully understood by the delivery teams and that the design change and revision management process is rigidly adhered to. Ensure that the “For Construction Packs” are fully checked against the Contractors packs on site prior to the commencement of any construction works. Ensure that all design changes are fully incorporated into the latest for construction/ registers. Ensure that the client O&M manuals are upto date and correct prior to submittal to client

Experience
Management of large multi disciplined, integrated Security Projects.
Has the ability to interpret specifications and contract requirements and deliver fully compliant solutions and execution plans.
Has a proven ability to lead a major projects delivery team inclusive of Sub – contractors.
Has proven ability to control project costs, manage change, identify and mitigate risk.
Provides detailed performance reports and forecasts to Project Manager.
Good organisational skills, Experience of working within operations teams, able to plan
Ahead and communicate well with the team, Suppliers and customers.
Qualifications;
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
5 years minimum work related experience on Large Complex Security Projects
