Territory: MEA =Middle East & Africa
Home Base: Any of the following countries: UAE, Qatar, Jordan or Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Continuous liaison management of MEA distributor network to ensure accurate territory sales forecasting, salesforce effectiveness and to develop, implement and execute short and long term sales strategies as well as marketing initiatives
Frequent visits to strategic markets with distributor sales team ensuring visits to multidisciplinary Key Opinion Leaders and conducting business reviews with distributor management.
Work with distributor and Sirtex regulatory personnel to achieve and maintain Sirtex product registrations
Develop and maintain key relationships with Medical Doctors and hospital personnel including technicians and purchasing department staff as well as important patient advocacy groups.
Identify hospital/physician training gaps and help organize physician and or hospital department seminars, proctoring or outside workshops.
Pricing reviews with Sirtex Pricing and Reimbursement staff to ensure pricing and reimbursement stability.
Skills
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
Experience in managing and evaluating distributors.
University degree preferably in the life sciences.
Have a good understanding of Oncology and Radiology and in particular the latest treatments for GI cancers in order to facilitate effective and quality discussions and presentations to Key Opinion Leaders in Oncology, Hepatology, Surgery, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
Have a good understanding of government and insurance reimbursement schemes in the strategic MEA markets.
Strong English communication skills in both written and verbal with fluency in any of Arabic, Farsi and French languages an asset.
Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Highly self-motivated and disciplined to work from a home environment.
Strong selling and negotiation skills.
Ability to work with others and is a strong team player.
Willingness to travel to other markets outside of MEA as required with all necessary travel documents to obtain visas internationally.
