About the role:
As a member of a small team you will be required to be familiar with most facets of the Finance function and at times provide direct support to the other roles within the team, however the main emphasis of this role is to support the Accountant in ensuring the monthly accounts are delivered accurately and timely and associated analysis is concise and meaningful.

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:
Preparation of monthly management reports, investigation of variances and assist in re-forecasting budgets

Preparation of monthly payroll journals, intercompany recharges, BAS return; allocations of costs from clearing accounts and the reconciliation of supporter database with the Trust account

Additionally, the position plays a key support role through providing ad-hoc backup for Accounts Payable.
