I am sure many of you have heard of One Direction. If you have not heard of them, they are considered the hottest heartthrob boy band that all the teenage girls are drooling over. Yes, I have 2 girls of my own that are in love with One Direction. I had the pleasure of reviewing the new One Direction Limited Edition Makeup Collection by Markwins International that comes in a cute tin. There are three different keepsake tins sporting different collections of One Direction Makeup. Now first let me explain to you that this is not kid makeup. Some may think this would be great for a 7-10 year old, well it is not kiddie makeup. This is 100% real makeup that you will need to use makeup remover when done.
The three Keepsake Tin collections are “Up All Night”, “Midnight Memories”, and “Take Me Home”. Each tin comes with a collection of beautiful makeup essentials that you could possibly need to show off your personality. I received the Up All Night collection which is encased in a plastic sleeve that is signed by all members of the band.
once opened everything is fit snug into the tin to keep it all intact. On the other side of the tin an illustration of how you can use some of the products.
The 4+1 eyeshadow palette comes in blissful blues, and versatile neutrals. They come in these colors.
More Than This – Soft blushing pink
Gotta Be You – Silvered Taupe Shimmer
Save You Tonight – Shimmering turquoise blue
Another World- Royal blue shimmer
Up All Night- Saphire glitter creme
My daughter loves the colors in this palette and thinks they were very pigmented and easy to apply. I think anything One Direction is a hit with her. My daughter loves the neutral colors, but is very happy with the shimmering colors as well. I am more of the sparkly girl so I hope to sneak in every now and then and wear this myself.
The “I Should Have Kissed You” lipstick is in a bubblegum pink creme color. It makes your lips pop a bright pink color. The texture is creamy and does not crack or make your lips feel dry. My daughter loves the color and I think it looks beautiful with her complexion.
The One Direction “Taken” Liquilights Glow Gloss is a glitter pink lip gloss that glows to neon orange under UV light.
What my daughter loves about this lip gloss is that you can wear it alone or over lipstick to enhance your look. The color is not to dramatic but gives your lips a pretty pink tint with a slight shimmer.
Na Na Na is a aqua-blue metallic chrome nail varnish. I tried this one and I found the nail polish not to thick and not to runny. I did use two coats of nail polish and noticed within a couple days it did start to peel off. There is many reasons it could have happened but so far my daughter is happy with it and that is all that matters.
The volumizing mascara in “Little Black Dress” will help give volume to your lashes. My daughter has very long eyelashes already so it was hard to tell how much volume this gave. She likes how the wand is thin and said it made it easy to apply the mascara.
Dark Denim eye and body crayon in “Stand Up” goes beautifully together when paired with the 4+1 eye shadow. You can also use the eye and body crayon to use the stencils that it comes with.
These are the cute stencils that come with the One Direction Collection. One can use these to decorate their tins or use as body art. My daughter has not used them as of yet but she is excited to try them out.
