At the intersection of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard in Sin City, The Cromwell rules as the first boutique hotel on the Strip. That’s a big deal for this small hotel that has huge aspirations after opening earlier this year.

That being said, the stellar property, with its cutting edge style combining vintage with contemporary, delivers. Indeed, this giant manse has made its mark, drawing in discerning guests with its drool-worthy amenities like coffee and tea service in the hallways, steam showers in all 188 rooms, and luxurious bath products made by Muk.

Meanwhile, accommodations inside this Southern Nevada-based retreat are distinctly French in nature, offering a proper Paris flat kind of vibe. To achieve this special effect, hard wood floors, plush bedding on pillow-top mattresses, and antique trunks dominate each space while 55-inch HD TVs are de rigueur for today’s traveler.

Also at The Cromwell and newly opened: Emmy-Award winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentis’ first restaurant, located on the second floor of this fresh property. Named after this famous foodie, Giada conjures up Italian cuisine leaning on Californian influences. Menus feature everything from Marsala herb chicken meatballs to rosemary focaccia to lemon ricotta cookies.

As for entertainment, Drai’s Beach Club and Nightclub takes center stage on The Cromwell’s rooftop in its sprawling 65,000-square-foot space on the 11th floor.  During the day, this enticing offering from famed nightclub chief Victor Drai gives multiple pool experiences amongst the palm trees while at night, the alluring expanse becomes a fast-paced hangout for epic partying.

That said, to get the most of Drai’s, join the Tuesday night “Drai’s Yacht Club” swim party, sailing each week starting June 10. Bon voyage!
