Famous Berlin Attractions
Many of these Christmas concerts are held at venues which are themselves famous Berlin attractions such as the Schloss Charlottenburg, Berliner Dom, Französischer Dom am Gendarmenmarkt, the Auen-Kirche Wilmersdorf, etc.

A special way of enjoying an Advent concert is in the Schloss Charlottenburg, once home to the Prussian king. To give guests a taste of the grand atmosphere during the era of Frederick the Great, the members of the Berliner Residenzorchester and service personnel will be dressed in period costumes. As well as traditional holiday music, the orchestra will perform works of Bach, Vivaldi, etc

The St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig joins the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and soloists to present Bach’s well-loved Christmas Oratorio. Founded in 1212, the St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig specializes in singing the music of J.S. Bach.
