The history of Grand Turk is fascinating. Christopher Columbus first made landfall on this beach during his quest to the New World in 1492.

The area of Cockburn Town is Grand Turk’s historic epicenter. It boasts quaint inns and is suitable for walking tours of the 18th and 19th century architecture.

The beaches are some of the most beautiful in the entire world The turquoise waters and quiet beaches make them an ideal location for a serene getaway.

The Turks and Caicos National Museum, located on Grand Turk, is rich in the history of Christopher Columbus and his time spent on the island.

The people of Grand Turk are a very relaxed mix of people, proud of their past and welcome visitors with open arms to explore their island.

You can swim with stingrays and all other kinds of marine life if you decide to snorkel in these clear waters. There is no shortage of beautiful things to see.

Visit the beautiful and historic Lighthouse built by the British in 1852. This lighthouse today still guards the northern tip of Grand Turk.
