Day 109 - Durras, Australia

Durras, Australia

I woke up at 07:46 giving me 14 more minutes to sleep before the alarm went off. When the alarm did go off I sat up and to keep myself awake I read my book for a bit as Jay had made me put it down mid chapter. He's such a meanie sometimes! I got dressed, went to the loo and then made Jay get up as otherwise he'd have stayed asleep as we did kinda go to bed quite late the night before. We had bacon and eggs from the giant pack of bacon Jay found in the supermarket! I'm telling you, in I've never seen this much bacon in one packet! And the size of it!! Parts of it were thick enough to be gammon albeit slightly skinny gammon! We packed up and got our way just in time to check out for 10:00am and get our key deposit back and headed towards our next destination. We didn't check out the blowhole even with the intended southerly wind. I realised that we hadn't made it to Jervis bay which is where we were supposed to get to (we weren't far) as I thought we'd gone past it as we didn't have a proper map and still don't. We checked out Booderee National Park in Jervis Bay/Narooma and paid the $11 entrance charge to get in. As we were paying I was trying to see if I had a $1 coin but I kept coming up with Singapore dollars or Thai baht so Jay jokingly asked the lady if they'd take it, she laughed and said unfortunately not. I settled on a $2 coin instead not wanting to break a note and we were in. We headed for the botanic gardens but they weren't exactly the most botanical. There were some pretty birds and a pretty cool tree with blood red sap. The first part we walked was more like am overgrown back garden than botanical but then we found a nice grassy patch and a better walkway where I could be less paranoid of snakes. We found Lake McKenzie but no tortoises. It was quite pretty but due to the greyness of the sky was a tad dull. On the way back to the van we walked past this tree and it had a growth coming out of it and neither of us knew what it was but we could guess it wasn't a hive because there was another one higher up. Jay said his grandma would know as she knows lots about gardening and everything in the universe ever and if she didn't know his other grandma would know.We then got back in the van and saw two girls looking at a map to which Jay said 'the one in the green shorts' and I agreed. We then drove off to find Cave Beach and we were not disappointed when we found it, it was so pretty. It had a nice area to take photos from and a really cool walkway. Because Jays got the gopro app on his phone (and we didn't have the remote with us) we were able to take photos of ourselves together with the stunning beach backdrop. There was a really nice campsite right next to the beach, it was just for tents though. We drove around to the village and then headed back on our way to Murramarang National Park which we nicknamed Lemon Meringue National Park because it was easier to say. We passed a town called Milton and a Town called Ulladulla before finding the park. We'd read that there were some really nice beaches and went off in search of one. We found a really pretty spot with really crystal clear waters. I paddled in to my ankles and took a few photos. It really was beautiful with the white sand beaches. On our way back to the van I notice a couple had stopped to look at something and I wondered what it was. It turned out to be a super cute wallaby! Jay was mesmerised and I had to make sure it didn't try and cuddle it like he wanted to. It was really cute just nibbling away on whatever it was eating. Then because I mentioned to Jay that this area is famous for tame kangaroos he wanted proof and so I had to read from the guide we'd been given to get him to believe me and now he was really excited! We headed towards a group of possible campsites in Durras North and hoped we'd get a spot. To get there we travelled on this really long gravel road which meant we had to go super slow which was no bad thing because it was bumpy and there was the possibility of kangaroos on the road. On the roads they have signs for kangaroos and wombats as warnings to look out for them. Even the signs are cute! Jay spotted a kangaroo but I missed it so pretended not to believe him. A little further down the line Jay spotted another one and this time I saw it. It was just eating something on the side of the road. They are so cool to watch bouncing! We kept going and eventually found the campsites, the first two looked fancy so I said let's drive past as they'll probably be expensive. The third one was much more basic. We pulled up and this grumpy old cow of a woman "welcomed" us and spoke horribly to Jay. Jay wasn't rude whatsoever, just asked her a simple question and she spoke to us like we were dirt. Really she was horrible! She had wobbly fat all over her too which doesn't matter just that she was horrible. It's $40 a night because it's Christmas time, even if it was peek time, this campsite should NOT have been $40 a night but we needed a place to stay so we paid it. I got out and the reception area looked empty (even though she'd just gone in there). I walked around the back and still nothing, she then calls out and says 'over here, this is where you sign up' which was less that obvious because, yeah, there was a door but with a huge desk in front of it so you couldn't get in. I filled out the information and was completely polite and she spoke a bit more nicely to me but also mentioned that I'd need 20 cents coins for the showers. I really thought we were being overcharged. I mean I know Aus is expensive but still!! $40 a night and you have to pay, PAY for showers! Ludicrous. Either way we parked up, plugged in and wondered down to the beach about 100 metres down the hill. We saw families playing on the beaches and kangaroos just chilling out. Because Jay didn't want to get his feet wet and walk across the sea to other patches of sand we headed back to the van to chill out for a bit. I sat and read my book, well I finished it and Jay chilled on his phone and then had a nice long nap because he was pretty dog tired. I thought I would fall asleep getting to the campsite I was so tired. Jay woke up eventually and went for a walk along the beach and filmed kangaroos on the gopro whilst I chilled more and started to get dinner ready. We had tacos with steak cubes instead of mince because I used it all in the spagbol. It was actually really good and we had enough for another time. After dinner we set the bed up and it started to rain quite nicely. I was desperate for the loo before sex and so had to run out towards the toilets in the dark. And what do I see? About 7/8 kangaroos just chilling in the campsite in the rain, I got Jay out because despite the rain I knew he'd wanna see this, also I made him come to the toilet with me because I was a chicken. He needed the loo too it turned out so it was fine, he just went in the ladies. We made it back, towelled off and started going at it. I was giving him a ******* and started to suck his balls but he moved me back to his shaft (I later discovered that what he meant was if I was going to suck his balls I should keep pumping the shaft too). He then made me cum much to his satisfaction as I hadn't in a couple of days. I tell him it's not his fault but he still feels bad. Sex was good and Jay made us go to bed at half ten which I thought was early but I fell asleep quickly.
