Day 12 Lamb Shack - Bremer Bay, Australia

Bremer Bay, Australia

Where I stayed

Bremer Bay Caravan Park

Hi All,

Yet another efficient camp pack up, which had us on the road by 8.45am. The weather down our way today was ideal for traveling as it was overcast and the temps were low with minimal wind. However, the road we traveled on was narrow and not in good condition.

We arrived at the Bremer Bay Caravan Park at 2.30pm and I quickly sort out a grassed powered camp site. Then the Lamb juggernaut powered up and our camp site was set up in record time. About a 6/10 for my first reversing job with our caravan.

The boys set to playing a game of one on one on the basketball court and I had a quick shower before I set to create a master piece in the camp kitchen, which is the best thus far (see pics). Tonight's meal was carbonara (light cream) with some garlic bread. While preparing I got to know our new besties a German couple (grandparents) and a real salt of the earth couple from Collie, who are our new neighbours. Everyone was jealous of our meal!!! Then the boys set off on their nightly washing up duties (see pics).

Not much else to report as it was a travel day. We managed to leave Esperance without our new bikes being stolen (Ya Ya!!!) the RAC have been amazing and have already transferred us the agreed funds for our bikes and Matt's helmet. We may be able to fit in some fishing tomorrow for you Tony!!

Today is Marnie's birthday so happy birthday to you!!! Tomorrow is our 15 year wedding anniversary. However, due to our trip changes my plans for dinner in Albany tomorrow night are off. We shall have to celebrate the next night. Jacqui has done very well for herself with a new helmet and a new bike for this years anniversary (jokes Paula).

I shall keep you all posted.

Regards Lamb Shack
