Panama work soccer - Toronto, Canada

Toronto, Canada

Woke up, went for breakfast at the hotel and walked to the office. I got lost and walked one or two extra blocks and the heat was incredibly high, especially because I wasn't used to it. I was completely soaked whereas other was just doing fine. Got to the office. Alejandro got me in and I reunited with alvaro. I worked all day, mostly with alvaro and mauricio. Jenny got us lunch which I ended up not paying to mauricio. It was raining like crazy and it was beautiful to see a lightning strike the pararrayos of the building across from us. I perfectly saw the electricity extending from the top of the building to the sky, like in the movies. Amazing. We stopped working at 330-4 pm and left the office with alvaro. Lesbia was waiting for us downstairs and we went to their condo. Their condo was at punta paitilla, a very exclusive zone of Panama City which is barely inhabited by locals, it's mostly expats living there. High on a 29th floor or so it had an amazing view of the cinta costera, financial district and the corridor to old town. The tide was low when I got there but it grew as we saw it by the evening. I'm always amazed by Alvaro's leadership. People responds to him and serves him as if he's really an important person, especially at work. However, at home, Lesbia pretty much does everything for him and the way he orders her to do things is, to my taste, not the greatest. He sits on the sofa and asks her to set up the TV, get him food (and for me too with a beer as he doesn't drink) and so on. Sometimes the computer will be buffering and he'll call her to come from wherever she is to fix the buffering thing, even though he's like meter and a half away from the computer. He's a great guy though. We watched Honduras beat Mexico in Mexico and colombia get a tie with chile in colombia after being 0-3 down. We were served Honduran dinner by Lesbia and her maid, composed of tortillas, refrained beans, steak, pork and chicharroncitos with pico de gallo and cheese. Delicious. I hadn't rated like this in years. Amazing. Before he dropped me off at the hotel we stopped by the supermarket where I got the crackers and deodorant for Cynthia and the rum for me. I went to the hotel. It was friday night so I decided to go out. I walked and got to Calle Uruguay where there was a lot of people in the street and many of them, Colombians as I saw a bunch of yellow shirts supporting the national team. Quite a few hot girls moving from one bar to the other and many other giving away brochures for burdel services. I met these two Diego's from colombia who had immigrated to panama a few months back. Diego chubby was a lot of fun, quite a festive guy who likes party, chill with chicks and probably go on until next day. The other Diego is a more quiet and reserve guy who seems to have a good heart and be more responsible, probably because of his daughters. We decided to go to 'Ashe' and had a few beers. The ambiance was interesting and loud. We saw girls come in and out with guys as they were offering their services. In my past life I probably would have been very tempted given the number of hot girls around. I walked home like at 230 am and passed out.
