Paronella Park
We have spent the last week putting up with wind & rain, This is what you get in the wet tropics, they tell us. We spent 2 days at Kurramine Beach and did a day trip along the beaches and had lunch with Geoff & Libby, caravanners from Adelaide you are staying at Wongaling Beach. Must be getting desperate as we stopped at Murdering Flat Winery at Silkwood where they do tropical fruit wines, their Black Sapote Port was very drinkable, ended up buying a bottle. Stayed overnight at Paronella Park Caravan Park and did the night tour of Paronella Park, Mostly now ruins of a Spaniards dream to create a castle in the Tropics. New stop will be up on the Atherton Tablelands.
