End of Chiang Mai and Middle of Chiang Rai - Mueang Chiang Rai, Thailand

Mueang Chiang Rai, Thailand

Hey Everyone!, Thank you so much for your prayer, God moved in amazing ways and with so much favor with our team in Chiang Mai. We had opportunities to minister in places that were unlikely and saw favor in places that the group we were with normally ministers. We got to partner in what God was already doing. God is so good. We saw many give their lives to Christ in a prison which we ministered in twice. We got to witness God move by his Spirit in a prison service where nearly every man stood up to receive the filling of the Spirit while others watched from the outside and some came in and listened. We got to speak at a teenage drug rehab, where several came to give their lives to a relationship with Christ. At the orphanage we were at, we got to see God break chains and take his children in deeper relationship with him. We spent two weeks at the orphanage and the last week we spent speaking truth, love, leading the boys into freedom in Jesus, and equipping them to minister to others in evangelism and the love of Jesus. We then took three of the boys to the night market and evangelized and shared the love of Jesus. One of our times evangelizing God spoke to me and a friend on our team to spend our time evangelizing in interceding and walking the streets. God led us to lady/boy show and we prayed. And God continued to direct us and speak to us and we continued to pray and ended up being led to go in and pray. We believed we did what God said and we both heard the Spirit speak "victory" to us after our time praying. Next time we went evangelizing one of our leaders and our translator got to speak to the lady/boys there. We believed we did what God called us to in Chiang Mai. Since we have been in Thailand, we have sensed a shift in God's purpose for us here. We have been obedient with the little, and he is allowing us to see more. One of the biggest revelations I got since being here is how much God is after our own heart. Ministry and missions opens up our heart if we let him. God is after our heart in everything we do. That we may know Him and live free and in fullness of relationship with Him. In Chiang Rai we have been at a Christian boarding school. There is about 300 students here I think. Many our from the hill tribes of Thailand. They age from kindergarten to high school. We have gotten to teach English and do a lot of holding and playing the with boys and girls. There is a language barrier even with translator. Because some of the boys and girls speak a hill tribe language. We have shared the love of Christ through intercession for the boys, girls, and the teachers and through being physically present with the boys and girls. In one of our times in prayer we felt God speaking to us for some of our team members to go to a hill tribe village and the other half to stay here to lead two worship nights and games on Saturday. The worship nights are an invitation for the boys and girls of all ages to experience the power and love of God, freedom, joy, and the intimacy of God! Please be praying for the boys and girls and the hill tribe the four people in our group are going to. Please be praying for our team. One of the biggest testimonies of my entire DTS is the prayer works and God moves at the sound of our voice. Prayer is a place of intimacy, dependency, and vulnerability before God. I love you all, Nate
