Well we are planning our next week here. We are planning on heading to the Hunter Valley that has wineries and bed and breakfast accommodation and the Blue Mountains. Mike is planning on renting a car for a week or so and we will drop it off at the airport when we depart on Jan 16. Mike will be playing golf at a private course in Sydney. Cannot believe it!!!! Nat has a friend whose husband plays.....and a private course too. Spoiled!!!! Mike and I tried one of the cook your own meat restaurants yesterday. We were not impressed. He got the steak that we shared and I got the salad. We also went to the oldest pub in Sydney. It was called Fortune of War. I had a mini draft..so cute. It has been so hot here...into the 90's for sure that we have had to turn the fans on at night. We are probably heading to coogee beach today. Believe me I do not need anymore sun. We met up with the British couple last night for drinks at the Winery. A funky upscale resto bar. It was great seeing them! We were trying to talk them into coming to Canada. We had lots of wine... The coffee here is very fine....my choice is Flat White...and I have one every morning. It is a shot of expresso with frothed milk....love it. It is a latte at Starbucks. We are attending an outdoor movie tomorrow night. I believe it is the movie with Tom Hanks. Captain Philips. They give you bean bag chairs outside. Is that not cool???? We are making dinner in tonight. Salmon and potatoes, warm tomato bread salad and corn on the cob. Got to find a simple dessert to whip up too. Should be fun. Love being with Natalie and Kev. And Mikey of course!!! So grateful.
