Okay a big upload! It's been a busy last five days!! On Friday night, we went to go and watch Nakhon Ratchasima FC play in the ESAN Cup, which is a small pre season tournament between some of the Thai teams. Nakhon Ratchasima FC are one of the teams in the Thai League, and represent Korat city and the Nakhon Ratchasima province. It was a good game, and NRFC won 4-0! People say the Phoenix crowds are bad, there were less than 4,000 people on Friday at the Korat Stadium!! Saturday was also a very busy day, in the morning, we made the 2 and a half hour drive to the Buriram province, where we visited a historical site, called Phanom Rung, and it was really beautiful!! It was so cool. Afterwards, we went to i-Mobile Stadium, the home of Buriram United FC. Buriram United are widely regarded as the best football team in Thailand, and highly popular! We got a look at the stadium, went in the players press conference room, and to the megastore afterwards where I bought myself a shirt. On Saturday evening, we went to a Thai dance/comedy show/concert. Two members of my host family came with me, as well as Kate, Krysta and teacher Ou from school. It was long, but really good except that I couldn't understand anything at all! It was a 3 hour plus show, and we left at 12am, and it hadn't even got to the good part according to my hosts! We got up early on Sunday morning and went to Korat Zoo, which was at least an hour drive from Dankhunthod. We went around the zoo in a golf cart, and saw heaps of animals which was quite cool, and it's a much better zoo than Wellington! After the zoo, we went to The Mall, Korat. We did some shopping and I got myself some new clothes, but was very tempted to buy another pair of footy boots!! It was a long, long day, followed by a big sleep! Monday wasn't too busy, I just chilled out with my friends, met new students, and marked the work for classes I had last week! Yesterday was a little more busy, I taught in a class and learnt some Thai dance, which I'll do more of today. Today is going to be a lot more busy, I know I'm teaching two classes, maybe have to do a musical performance AND do Thai dance, plus socialise with my friends, so don't know how much free time I'll get compared to the other days!!! Not long left here now though...
