Residents and weekend visitors in Jeddah are in for a new lunchtime treat as Jeddah’s five-star property recently introduced a new Saturday lunch concept brought all the way from the Mediterranean.

The award-winning Rosewood Jeddah hotel has welcomed ‘La Dolce Vita’, which translates to ‘the good life’, to its renowned international restaurant, Habsburg from Saturday 8 August.

The Italian themed lunch will run every Saturday where hotel guests and visitors will have the chance to relish the very best of Italy’s authentic flavours. The new concept is set to be a unique experience with a selection of theatrical live cooking stations on offer to entertain and educate diners.

Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director at Rosewood Jeddah said, “We wanted to create a new and unique Saturday lunch experience for our guests and Rosewood Jeddah’s annual ‘Italian Food Festival’ has always proved to be a triumphant success with customers since launching in 2011.

“Habsburg is one of Jeddah’s most popular restaurants, with weekly events such as Seafood night on Thursday and the Friday family brunch, and we believe ‘La Dolce Vita’ will become a new favourite weekend option, satisfying friends, couples and families with a wide selection of specially prepared Italian cuisine on offer.”

Habsburg’s chefs will craft exquisite dishes and treat visitors to the deliciously fresh and innovative cuisine through a variety of speciality recipes which have been carefully created for this unique experience.

Bringing flare and finesse to classic risotto, pizza and pasta dishes, the team of talented chefs will cook dishes live with a selection of black truffles and one of kind truffle oil imported directly from Italy. Diners can expect a variety of cuisine favourites at ‘La Dolce Vita’, including ravioli and homemade pasta, fresh seafood and live cooking stations offering Habsburg guest’s mouth-watering dishes.

Guests will also be presented with an assortment of tempting Italian deserts to choose from. The live station experience allows diners to talk to the skilled chefs, seek their advice on particular ingredients, and discover how various dishes are created.
