Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu, Hawaii Island’s first and only AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star resort, has named Massimo Falsini as its Executive Chef.
Overseeing all restaurants and culinary operations, Chef Falsini joins the Resort with more than 24 years of experience around the world. Prior to joining Four Seasons, he most recently served as executive chef of Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Prior to this, Falsini was executive chef of the USD 3.6 billion Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, where he oversaw seven culinary concepts. His earlier experience includes positions in Jordan, as head Italian chef for the Grand Hyatt Amman’s signature restaurant, L’Incontro; executive chef of the legendary Michelin-starred Harry’s Bar in Rome; and corporate executive chef for Italian Food Enterprises, Inc., overseeing the operations for five Italian influenced restaurants in Florida. He began his culinary career in Rome at the Michelin-starred trattoria Felice a Testaccio, before serving at the Michelin-starred Restaurant “Baby” at Aldrovandi Palace, in Villa Borghese, Rome and the Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria in Abano Terme Padova, Italy.

Chef Massimo holds Master Certificates in Hospitality Management and Food Service Management from Cornell University. He is also a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation, and was named a Certified Master Chef, Italian Cuisine by Academia Barilla. Husband to Danielle and father to Evelyn, he enjoys family time, gardening and motor sports (Ferrari being his team of choice).
