ExCeL London, Europe’s premier venue renowned for hosting high profile events including the Olympics, Paralympics and the G20 Summit, has signed an exclusive five year deal for Europcar – the leader in car hire services in Europe – to be the venue’s official mobility partner. The first partnership of its kind to create a mobility centre within an exhibition and conference venue, the new contract begins on 1st January 2014. David Pegler, CEO of ExCeL London, and Ken McCall, Managing Director of Europcar UK, will mark the launch of the strategic alliance with a photo opportunity and a question and answer session at ExCeL on Monday 4thNovember at 11am.

This partnership will see ExCeL London benefit from a unique transport solution, using Europcar’s extensive experience in operating large vehicle hire locations, and differentiating ExCeL from other exhibition and convention venues. This partnership will give visitors, exhibitors and staff access to a wide range of car and van hire services, including valet parking, a chauffeur-drive service and airport shuttle buses. In addition, exhibitors, suppliers and visitors will be able to hire vans and cars from Europcar’s nationwide and European network for their trip to ExCeL, benefitting from one-way rentals, as well as delivery and collection, for the ultimate in flexibility. As the sole vehicle rental provider for ExCeL London, Europcar will have unique promotional opportunities onsite and will be able to offer bespoke transport solutions tailored to individual events for their customers.
This is the first of a wider programme of strategic partnerships that would enable ExCeL London to continue to enhance its offering its customers and exhibitors. Through this extended programme of partnerships, ExCeL London will not only be Europe’s premier and most versatile venue – it will also provide access to unique partnerships.
