The family-run Red Carnation Hotel Collection regularly wins top awards as each property is thoroughly committed to their pursuit of excellence. The company is extremely proud to announce that seven of their award-winning hotels have been honored as the “Best in the World” by Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards.

 

Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat in South Africa’s Cederberg Mountains earned the #1 spot among the “Top 25 Resorts and Safari Camps in Africa” with a stellar score of 98.9. This score also placed Bushmans Kloof 3rd among the Readers’ Choice ” Top 100 Hotels and Resorts in the World.” Bushmans Kloof’s outstanding sister properties in South Africa, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa (94.2) and The Oyster Box (93.3) were also honored, placing 4th and 6th in the ” Top 15 Hotels in Africa.”

 

In London, honors went to ‘41’ (95.4), The Chesterfield Mayfair (92.7), and The Rubens at the Palace (88.2), which earned the 2nd, 4th, and 14th spots among the “Top 35 Hotels in the United Kingdom “. ‘41’ was also awarded a spot in the “Top 100 Hotels and Resorts in The World.” Ireland’s stunning Ashford Castle, the newest member of The Red Carnation’s family of hotels, earned a score of 92.1, placing it in the top 10 on the list of “Top 20 Resorts in Europe.”
