North Coast Music Festival (NCMF) is thrilled to announce more artists on the lineup for this year’s festival, which showcases the most diverse range of genres than ever before! New acts include French stalwart producer, WAX TAILOR who will be performing a LIVE set of his orchestral hip-hop beats, emerging New York beat maker extraordinaire SWEATER BEATS, and downtempo instrumental hip-hop producer LITTLE PEOPLE.
Notable Chicago-based acts added on the lineup include the infamous PORN AND CHICKEN crew, plus STEFAN PONCE, who was recently nominated for two Grammys after working as a producer on Childish Gambino’s latest full length album, Because The Internet. Also joining the bill are LEATHER CORDUROYS, a duo comprised of emcee’s KENE & Joey Purp, part of the SaveMoney crew who are known as the most visible members of the disparate Chicago enclave of rappers, producers, singers, and visual artists like Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, and more.

North Coast Music Festival was originally founded in 2010 by a group of independent promoters who came together to create an urban taste-maker festival of emerging and established artists from a diverse range of genres. Between them they produce hundreds of Chicago-based events each year, including multiple festivals in the Midwest, one off events at Chicago’s premiere music venues, street festivals, and more, that attract thousands of fans and artists from all over the world. Last year, NCMF celebrated it’s 5th year anniversary and sold out of 3-day passes for the first time, with nearly 60,000 people in attendance.
