STARTING MAY 2016 – 1k to 250k CHALLENGE – SIGNUP FOR MORE DETAILS
Let the challenge begin. I was given a challenge and accepted it. The challenge is actually simple; turn a 3k options account into 100k. A few sites have done this. The guys over at traderminute run a challenge. Looks like the last challenge they took $3,000 and lost $2,388 while charging their members $599/month to follow along. OptionsMoneymaker has some grow 20k program that they charge $1495 for. I am sure there are other sites as well.
Here is how it will work. I will make trades, mostly day trades, with some swing trades as well. I will keep a journal of the trades. I will show my account statement for all to see. Each night in the nightly email I will share the trades that I did that day. Since most will be day trades they will be hard to call out as in many cases I am in them for a very short period of time. (Students that I have mentored in the past get access to the trading room, so they will be able to take the trades live.) When possible I will call out trades via email and twitter.
