Battlefield 1 and Infinite Warfare share the honours for the final week of 2016.

Here are the Top Ten selling games in Australia and New Zealand for the week ending January 1.

Australia

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare secures its sixth Australian number one, helping Activision to its tenth of the year - the highest of any publisher. Whether or not this week's result is enough to claw back Battlefield 1's lead remains to be seen, with a 2016 chart expected shortly.

Battlefield 1 has pipped Infinite Warfare for its third New Zealand number one (EA's fifth), equal to the latest Call Of Duty title in the region. Activision claimed the most number ones for the year with eight, just one ahead of Ubisoft.
