Everyone knows that street racing is dangerous and it should be kept off the public roads and on a track. However, This doesn’t stop every avid car speed nut from racing on the streets. In this video, Vice Japan profiles Eikichi Nagayoshi of Japan’s island of Okinawa, a car salesman by day, illegal street racer by night.

Nagayoshi love his Toyota Aristo (Better known here as the first series Lexus GS) and he claims this highly modified Aristo knocks out over 1000 HP and has a top speed of 205 MPH. He often ships his car to the mainland Japan and races his Aristo in drag races and drifting competitions for money. He is also known to race on the public roads (we do not endorse that kinda stuff) but the video is interesting from a personality point and the fabled Japanese underground scene.
