For the second year in a row, Toyota is planning to give back to local communities across the country in a big way. That's right, the Toyota "100 Cars for Good" program has been green lit for a return in 2012, and everyone here at DCH Toyota of Oxnard is quite happy to hear it.

For those of you who don't know what the Toyota "100 Cars for Good" campaign is; it's an initiative that has Toyota giving away a total of 100 vehicles to 100 different 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations over the course of 100 days. To be considered for a new Toyota, a qualifying group must complete an application to explain why that vehicle would be beneficial to their cause.

Know a local nonprofit that could benefit from this campaign? Tell them to submit an application! Toyota will be accepting them as of March 12th, and there are six great vehicles to choose from. They include the Toyota Camry Hybrid, Highlander, Prius v, Sienna (minivan or specially-equipped mobility van), and Tundra. Each vehicle will also come with a six-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, compliments of Toyota Financial Services.

Meanwhile, four runners will be awarded with a $1,000 grant from Toyota each day during the contest's 100-day duration. In other words, Toyota is making sure that as few nonprofits as possible walk away empty handed.
