OK,
so you're facing a problem: You're an eco-friendly driver with a love of the
Earth but not a lot of dough in your wallet. So what's a thrifty hippie to do?
Head on over to Cheampism.com's :"Best Budget Hybrid Cars" list to
get the details about how you can meet both of your goals. Topping this list
are the new
Toyota Camry Hybrid and the new
Toyota Prius c.

Hybrid vehicles (not to mention EVs) often have
sticker prices much higher than gasoline-powered vehicles. And, unfortunately,
buyers no longer have the option of claiming federal tax credits offered in
recent years to aid in the buying process. Of course, drivers must also keep in
mind that, oftentimes, factors such as depreciation and higher fuel-economy
numbers can make up for the higher price of these vehicles.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid, for its parts, starts at
only $25,990 and offers many more features than most other sedans at its
price-point. It achieves 43 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway, and it
drives like a traditional gasoline
vehicle.

The Toyota Prius c starts much lower, at only
$18,950, and is one of the cheapest hybrids available. It's smaller than most
other hybrids, but it still holds five passengers. It achieves an amazing 53
mpg city/46 mpg highway.
