Kelso is a busy market town with plenty of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Arguably one of the prettiest Scottish Border towns it sits next to the River Tweed and is popular with fishermen, and women, fishing the Tweed for Salmon. The streets of the town are cobbled and there are many interesting shops to browse in. During the summer Floors Castle is a major tourist attraction and there are many events held at Springwood Park, home to the Border Union Show. Kelso Racecourse, located a short distance away, is known as Britain's Friendliest Racecourse and is a great days racing.

Large dining kitchen with farmhouse table seats 8, with french doors leading directly onto the garden with views of the river and open views of the countryside.
