Christmas clearance has already started at Target, with artificial Trees at 50% Off and decor, ornaments and a few other items at 30% Off. But each year, starting the day after Christmas, an assortment of all kinds of products that have holiday or winter packaging inevitably also go on clearance. Every year I try to gather a list of these products – a lot of which we may have coupons for – and do matchups. While there is NO GUARANTEE EVERYTHING on the list will get clearanced- there is a good chance that many will.
While not everything on this list has coupons- it will hopefully get you thinking about what to look for and to check not only the typical holiday clearance area- but other parts of the store for these holiday edition packages that might be possibly be tucked amongst their non-holiday counterparts.
If you are unfamiliar with shopping the after-Christmas clearance – most Christmas items do not get stickered – so be sure to check things up at that scanner! I will try and continually update with any other coupons I can find and will put a button on the sidebar for easy access to it. Not all prices are listed, but for those that are – it will be for regular price to give you an idea of what the percentage off may be once it goes on clearance.

APPAREL
You may have noticed lots of holiday apparel this year and the day after Christmas – most of these apparel items move down without being stickered. They also don’t all usually manage to get moved to the clearance section, so be sure and hunt around and scan to check. Watch for the special holiday tag which will increase the chances of it being on clearance and look for it on tees, pajamas, robes, socks, briefs, and more. We also have a 20% Off Clearance Apparel Target Cartwheel Offer that is valid thru 12/31, but you might want to go ahead and load this offer now!
Keep watch for other brands that may possibly get clearanced as well, including Xhilaration, Merona, and more. No guarantees but I found this pajama set and plaid robe in with other holiday apparel so they MIGHT be marked down after Christmas….
These pajama sets and flannel pants by Gilligan & O’Malley were also with holiday apparel.
Watch for intimates too, like these cute briefs by Xhilaration and women’s slipper socks. I usually always have luck in the Men’s department hunting around for holiday boxers. Not all move down with the clearance – but I usually find a few- so it’s definitely something to check.
Be sure and check the the kids department too for holiday tees by Disney and also Cat & Jack that could go on clearance after Christmas.
HOME
Another place to look for holiday clearance is the home department. This year there were all kinds of potholders, placemats, bedding, and more that were marked with this holiday tag. I found these cute holiday flannel sheets and the solid gray and plaid styles could be used year round. The sheet sets always seem to be hit or miss- but it’s another thing to scan of you find some left.
The kitchen & home areas will be another place to look for possible finds that may not make it back to the clearance section, so take a look around for those holiday tags after Christmas to see what you can find.
There are usually some hidden treasures to watch for after Christmas that sometimes are completely not Christmasy at all and I post about these hidden finds as they are discovered.
