Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.
BANK OF AMERICA: If you have a Bank of America Debit Card- then check out the list of qualifying museums that you have FREE admission to the first weekend of every month! You can go HERE to find out more about the Museums on Us Program and view a list of participating museums in your area.
DISNEY STORE: Check out Summer Play Days at the Disney Store, going on now thru September 5th. In-store events include the Art of Drawing, Showtime, Story Time and Trivia. *Summer Play Days event at select locations. Contact your local Store for details. LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, July 2nd from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own 4th of July wreath! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. For a complete calendar of events, check out their Facebook page HERE and click on the Events Tab if you don’t see them.
LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, local activities, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.
HOME DEPOT: Saturday, July 2nd from 9 am – 12 pm – Kids can build their own Ice Age Collision Course bowling game. Once the game is built, your child can decorate it with stickers of characters in the new Ice Age movie. Kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last. You can check out the details HERE.
CHUCK E. CHEESE: If you’re headed to Chuck E. Cheese this summer, check out their website first for coupons and other offers. They also have some cool rewards calendars on their website that you can download that kids can complete to earn FREE tokens! Plus, kids 2 & under eat FREE with the purchase of an adult buffet at participating locations. Three is a limit of one FREE kid buffet per purchase. LOWE’S BUILD AND GROW: Mark your calendars and register early for the next workshop! Saturday, July 9th at 10 am — Kids can build their own Marvel Falcon! All Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics give kids a chance to build a wooden project and receive a free apron, goggles, patch, and more! You can go HERE for more details.
GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB: This Saturday, July 2nd from 10 am to 3 pm, you can bring the family to Michael’s for fun, patriotic family activities! Kids ages 3 & up can make their own Craft Stick American Flag at Kids Club and family members can tie-dye their own t-shirt and decorate cookies. Plus, now thru July 29th, kids can attend Michael’s Camp Creativity, every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10 am until noon.
