Ceramic countertops:  these are available in a wide range of price and colours. It is very easy to install ceramic countertops and are resistant to heat. They are usually inexpensive and give a very sophisticated look to the kitchen.

Marble countertops:  they are quite expensive and easy to maintain. Marble countertops have a classy and rich look.

Engineers stones: these stones are made artificially  by using quartz. These are resistant to stains, scratches and even acid.Engineered stones are heavy and need professional installation.

You need to be creative while choosing your kitchen countertops. They are available in innumerablecolours and options.

Designing the kitchen countertops:

Once you have decided the material that you would install, selecting a design will be an easy task. The latest trend in designing your countertops is “ going green”. This does not mean that you have to choose green colour for everything inside your kitchen. This means that you should use eco-friendly material for remodeling your kitchen. For instance you can install recycle paper countertop in the kitchen. These are robust, reasonable and look very stylish. If you prefer the rustic look for your kitchen you can even go in for wooden countertops. They look great even after using them for years. Apart from designing the countertops, there are other things as well to make your kitchen look elegant. Ensure that all the kitchen appliances are arranged properly. Install a bright light for the kitchen. Even the colour , design and the materials of the kitchen cabinets and other components should be in sync with the countertops.
