Naik, 51, founder of the Mumbai-based Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), also appealed to people to ‘eliminate terrorism from our midst’.

The controversial preacher, who is banned in UK, Malaysia and Canada for his hate speeches, also took to Facebook to garner support.
His post got around 16,000 likes.
Besides allegedly inspiring Dhaka attackers, Naik reportedly encouraged several Indian youth who took to militancy.
