The ride allows you to strap yourself face down and glide through the air with arms wide open just like a bird. Flying 853 feet above the park, the zipline is one of the highest in the world – so you get a bird’s view for the highest possible zip.



7. ZipFlyer, Nepal:

Located at a distance of about 10 km from the amazing town of Pokhara, in Sarangkot, Nepal, the ZipFlyer is considered as the most extreme zipline in the world. With a vertical drop of 600 meters and over a mile long, the zipline is steepest and one of the fastest ziplines anywhere in the world. Featuring a magnetic braking system, the zipline runs over the picturesque Machapuchare Mountain and the Seti River.

Adventurers from all around the world gather to enjoy the amazing zipline. Dubbed as the longest zipline over water, the zipline that offers speeds of up to 50 mph runs about 2,600 feet. Running over the sky blue waters and mystifying mountains, the zipline has a 500-foot vertical drop towards the water.

Located in the Angkor Archaeological Park in Combodia, the new Flight of the Gibbon zipline is the only ride where you can combine the benefit of adventure with the beauty of history. The Archaeological Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site measuring 154-square-miles. The park is famous because of the Angkor Wat temple. The site has a combined thrill of ten ziplines, which you can’t have enough of once you are at the Angkor Archaeological Park.

When you are in New Zealand, you cannot miss an opportunity to zipline at the Mokai Gravity Canyon’s Flying Fox. At the 3,600 feet Gravity Canyon’s Flying Fox riders can hit about 100 mph and have their heads turned over onto the stomachs. Flying parallel over theriverbed nearly 600 feet below the riders roll back and forth a few times in the ride before finally stopping in the middle.

2. Icy Straight Point, Alaska:

Built in 2006-2007 the Icy Straight Point in Hoonah, Alaska, is claimed by few as the largest zipline in the world. Running over a mile long, the zipRider has a 1,300 foot vertical drop that adds wonder to the ride. Six riders can ride simultaneously on parallel lines spanning over the ocean and tree clad mountains. The ride allows riders to hit almost 60 mph.
