Now to be fair, I had seen minor successes with traffic strategies, niche strategies and other things, but they were short lived and never seemed to make the money, or keep getting the traffic like they they were supposed to.
So, I logically pulled every little piece and part from each of the strategies I had read before THAT ACTUALLY WORKED and I put them all together in a fluid attack plan, creating a step by step program for myself that included a bunch of "mini strategies", and I put them to work to see if I could pull it off.
What I found out in the next 3 months was that I had created a set of techniques, that when applied alone were not that great or profitable, but when combined in a logical manner were as profitable as anything I had ever seen before.
It was like I finally found the missing pieces of the puzzle. None of the single techniques I had been using were that great. But when creatively combined, turned out to be true powerhouse strategies.
That is when I took that leap of faith and sold everything I had and moved into that popup camper in an RV park on Panama City Beach.
I knew I had the secret key, and I knew that all I needed then was time to make it work. Since I had money in the bank, I was not worried. I moved into the RV park so I could be close to the beach, where I like t spearfish, without getting a mortgage on a $250K house.
I wanted to live cheap to make sure I had it right. Long story short, after a couple of years of traveling the country and living in the RV park, I moved to Costa Rica to do some once in a lifetime fishing and fulfill my dream of living in a cabin on the beach in Costa Rica and having no more worries about life, just like when I was 12 years old.
You remember that, right? The time when the only thing you had to worry about was getting home in time for supper before you made your mother mad. I wanted to experience that feeling again and I had finally gotten there. Kind of like how Earnest Hemingway lived in Key West many years ago.

But! This was Where I was Headed!
FYI: That is my truck, my passport, my favorite marina in Costa Rica (Los Suenos) and my favorite beer in Panama. These are pics from my personal collection and that is my meat hook holding a Corona while I grab a lime from the lime tree in my front yard in Costa Rica. I did not realize that a couple of these photos are post card quality too!
I had built enough sites, in such a short period of time even I was amazed. And what was more important, is that I was now making enough to leave the country and never look back. I knew, at that very moment when the commissions started to snowball, that I was on my way. Those commissions allowed me to believe that it was possible. And not only possible, but getting better everyday.
The more I built, the more I made. Now I was working 16 hour days, but not out of fear, but out of excitement.
And everything continued to grow. When I had 6 months of expenses in the bank, I left for Costa Rica. That is the proof that I was making it. I had to pinch myself. I had dreamed about this for years and it was finally coming true. I was in Costa Rica where I knew not a single soul and did not speak Spanish that well.
But I knew my money was coming in every month, and as long as I continued to build sites, the money would snowball for me. It was so good, I bought a car. Three months later, I decided to buy a beach buggy. A 1974 Land Rover was what I wanted to tool around on the beach in. That thing may not look like much, but cars are expensive in Costa Rica and I paid $5K for that one, with no paint!
It turned out to be the coolest vehicle in town. Many of the locals would stop me to talk about and admire that vehicle. I was loving it.
I dug this business out of nothing by building as many sites as I could and all that effort and sacrifice paid off. I found the golden goose and life was good. Still is!!!
