VITEEE is an entrance exam conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology. The online registration have been started from 9th November 2016. This exam is conducted for admission to engineering courses at Chennai and Vellore campuses. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have full knowledge of eligibility criteria. If they apply without eligibility, their candidature will be cancelled. Candidates full filling following condition are eligible.
Candidates should have passed 12th (10+2) / intermediate exam.
Candidate should have passed with 60% (50% for the SC/ST & North Eastern State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in 12th / intermediate examination.
NRI candidates can apply directly through NRI category for admission to B.Tech. Degree programme.
‘NIOS’ candidates are eligible to apply.
There is a age limit also. Candidate should be born on or after 1st July 1995.
Candidate is eligible in foreign category if he is a foreign nationals/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) studying in any country.
VITEEE 2017 Application Form
There are two methods to apply 1) Online method 2)Offline method
Apply offline:
Purchase VITEEE Application Form from the desigated Post Offices. Get the list of post offices from the official website. Information brochure containing application form will be available against a cash of Rs 990/-. Purchase your form also from VIT University, Vellore Campus or Chennai Campus.
Candidate should mail the form with attachment through Speed Post or Registered Post. Before sending the form confirm that you have attached the required documents with the form. Refolding of the application form should be done along with the original fold. Insert the refolded form in the envelope received with the form. Send the form along with attachments so as to reach before the last date. Forms received after the last date will be rejected.
Apply online:
Candidates can apply online. Online application form is available on website www.vit.ac.in. Exam Fee can be paid through Demand Draft (DD) / Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Debit Card. If You have submitted the form online and deposited the exam fee by DD then send the hard copy of form to VIT University, Vellore.
Status of Application Form
Candidates will receive SMS on his / her registered mobile number after receiving of application form. You can also track the status of application form on www.vit.ac.in after three weeks from the date of submission of application form.

VITEEE Exam Pattern 2017
Exam is conducted as a Computer Based Test at various exam centers. The test paper will consists of 125 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology and English. Subjects PCM/B will have 40 questions each. English will have 5 questions. Questions will be multiple choice objective type. Each question will carry 01 mark. There will not be negative markig. Exam will be of 2 hrs and 30 minutes time period. Every day Exam will be conducted in three sessions.
Students choosing PCM in qualifying exam will be eligible for admission in 20 Undergraduate Engineering Courses and PCB Candidates will be eligible for B. Tech. in Biotechnology, Bio Medical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.
Syllabus for the exam is that of the level of State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE board.
VITEEE Admit Card 2017
Admit Card can be downloaded from official web site. www.vit.ac.in. Admit Card is auto generated once you have booked exam schedule through Online Test Booking System. You will receive admit card on your email address. Admit Card will not be sent by post.
Candidates can book the date and slot of exam by Online Test Booking System (OTBS). It will be open after the form submission is ended. Slot booking will be done on first come first served basis. The slot once has been booked, will not be changed under any circumstance. You can book only those slots which are marked available for VITEEE 2017 Online Test.

Admission Process
Admission to a candidate will be given on the basis of merit list of VITEEE exam. Counseling dates will be given after declaration of result. Candidates will be allotted seats or branch based on Rank in VITEEE 2017.
Counseling
Selected candidate should submit a demand draft of Rs. 50,000/- in favour of VIT University’, payable at Vellore. It includes counseling fee Rs. 10,000/- Counseling fee is not refundable in any case. Candidates should attend the counseling procedure with the required documents
Result/ Rank List/ Merit List
VITEEE exam result will be declared on website www.vit.ac.in. An all India merit / rank list will be prepared. This merit list will be used in counseling process.
