It’s a Quad core processor with 4 threads that offers great gaming experience and ultimate performance during Image and Video editing sessions.
It comes integrated with Intel’s HD 4600 Graphics clocked at 1200MHz along with the company’s own Turbo Boost Technology 2.0
The processor is definitely meant for Overclocking, however the stock heatsink isn’t meant to handle that kind of stress... hence it’s highly recommended to get an aftermarket heatsink like the Cooler Master Hyper 612 for best gaming experience for our Best Gaming Desktop under $1000.
Well if you want to keep your CPU’s Temp to very minimum and still overclock it upto 5GHz then you can treat your Intel Core i5 4690K with Corsair Hydro H60 Water Cooling solution.
