BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Ethan LaMond said competing at the Lehigh Lacrosse Lehigh Valley Showcase camp this week has helped him to become a better two-way player.

“I learned that defense is a big part of lacrosse, whether you are an offensive player or not,” said the 2018 midfielder from Pennsylvania state finalist La Salle.

LaMond was one of the standouts at Thursday night’s All-Star Game, on Day 2 of the 3-day camp that featured elite instruction and showcase games as well as a close look at the Lehigh campus and program.

“For academics, you can’t beat it,” said LaMond, who plays for the Duke’s L.C. “The coaching staff was awesome. The players on the team were nice guys. They really did a great job. It was a great camp. It’s a great campus, and I figured I would come here and get better.”

Pete Behrens, a 2019 atackman from St. Mary’s Ryken (MD), scored twice lead team Brown to a 6-4 victory over team White in the all-star game.
