Spring Tournaments
Shamrock Shootout, by My Lacrosse Tournaments, for boys’ and girls’ teams on March 18-19 at Sachem Sports Complex, 1111 Waverly Avenue, Holtsville, NY, 11742. This tourney is open to boys town and travel teams, Separate divisions for Town and Travel, these divisions will be played on different days. Boys Town Teams play on March 18th and Boys Travel teams play on March 19th.
In addition to boys town and travel divisions the event also has girls divisions.

The Shamrock Shootout is one of Long Island’s longest standing lacrosse events. Teams use this event to kick start their season. Whether it’s a local town team or an elite travel team the Shamrock Shootout has a division that offers competitive games. Town based teams will play on March 18th while travel based teams will take the field on March 19th. Have a girls program? The Shamrock shootout is also open to girls teams as well.

Town Based Teams Play on April 23, travel Based Teams Play on April 29th. Open to boys teams only, draws local Tri-State area town based teams for the town team tournament and draws elite club teams like LI Express, Team 91, Laxachusetts, Leading Edge.

The Spring Lax Jam is a two day event back to back Saturdays in late April. One day is open to Town based teams while the other day is open to elite travel teams. The Town and Travel portion both draw teams from all over the Tri-State area. The Spring Lax Jam is a great way for teams to Spring into the Summer tournament circuit.

Spring League
Maplezone Sports Institute (PA) Boys Atlantic Club Lacrosse League for Middle School and Youth teams. Maplezone Sports Institute (MSI) powered by Heritage Lacrosse is pleased to announce the launch of the Atlantic Club Lacrosse League, a youth boys spring league that will feature competitive travel club teams with players in the graduating classes of 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Doubleheaders will be scheduled for each team on alternating Sundays. Games are 12-minute running quarters with a minute-long break in between quarters and a five-minute halftime. Teams play eight regular season games before playoff Sunday that determines the league champion by graduating class. The dates are March 19; April 2 and 23 and May 7 and 21. All games are played on all turf fields at the MSI Sports Village located in Aston, PA. Schedules, results and standings will all be available real time.
The league uses modified Federation rules with minor tweaks. There is limited contact with an emphasis on player safety, especially when it comes to head contact and unsportsmanlike play.
League Overview: (8 games / team + playoffs); Each team plays 8 games, plus playoffs; Play 2 games/day, every other Sunday; Minimizes conflicts, maximizes value of each game day; Games comprised of four 12-minute quarters; Game Days – March 19, April 2, April 23, May 7 (Playoffs on May 21)

Spring Youth Tourney
Ohio Lacrosse Championship for youth teams, by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, on June 3 at the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio. Organized by LEGACY Global Sports, the Ohio Lacrosse Championship is a regional lacrosse tournament for club, travel and recreational youth teams seeking a unique and meaningful lacrosse experience presented with a high standard of quality and service. All players will receive free admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum where they can honor heroes of the game and experience the excellence of commitment, integrity, courage and respect. The tournament is limited to the first 20 teams that sign up and register. Team registration is $495 and includes championship format games, Gatorade hydration products, brand new turf fields with lights and scoreboards, player eligibility for All-Star Game and invitation to the 2017 Brine National Lacrosse Academy, and admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum. Brine National Lacrosse Classic/Lacrosse Academy tryouts. The event, by LEGACY Global Sports, in partnership with Warrior Sports and Richmond Region Tourism, will be held July 18-21, 2017, at the River City Sportsplex, Richmond, VA. Entering its 10th year, the Brine National Lacrosse Classic and Brine National Lacrosse Academy bring together the finest players and coaches in an event offering extreme competition, exposure to the next level of the sport and an Olympic-style lacrosse experience for every player.

Victory Events’ Beast of the East 2017 boys’ showcase on June 11 The invite-only event will feature 80 elite boys’ players in the classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020 in a showcase event at West Chester University.

National 175 Best of the Best Individual Showcase, June 28 at Mitchel Athletic Complex, 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale, NY 11553. The event is specifically designed for student athletes seeking to maximize their exposure by showcasing their skills against very strong competition and playing in front of a large quantity of high quality college coaches. National 175 Summer Showcase is a recruiting event designed to allow players to meet and interact with dozens of college coaches through intensive interactive clinics and game play scenarios. The Maverik Hawk Hill 150, by Saint Joseph’s Lacrosse and Maverik, July 26-28. Hawks Coach Taylor Wray and his staff have taken a different approach in developing the Hawk Hill 150 in an effort to allow players to better showcase themselves for college coaches and prepare for the rigors on NCAA lacrosse.
The Saint Joseph’s staff along with members of other premier NCAA coaching staffs like Duke University, Drexel University, University of Delaware, Lehigh University, University of Richmond, Villanova University and others will put together positional skill sessions, high level college-type practices and drills to assure each player is evaluated in the role that best suits their skill set. By the end of the event participants will walk away better lacrosse players and with a thorough understanding of what it takes to play at the highest level.
At the Maverik Hawk Hill 150 there are three goals for the student-athletes: Learn and improve as a lacrosse player, showcase their talent in front of college coaches, and leave with a better grasp of the recruiting process and a plan to reach their goals.

The Warrior National Prospect Invite, July 17-18, by LEGACY Global Sports, in partnership with Warrior Sports and Richmond Region Tourism, at River City Sportsplex, Richmond, VA.
The Warrior National Prospect Invite is an innovative new way to highlight boys and girls in the classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021 that demonstrate superior athletic skills, academic excellence and personal integrity – on and off the field. This two-day showcase affords these outstanding student athletes the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and sportsmanship in front of NCAA lacrosse coaches from around the country. Anyone can nominate deserving 2019, 2020 and 2021 lacrosse players for consideration. All nominations are done online, with no fee, and the process is easy.

Top high school seniors can register to compete in the National Collegiate Prep Preview this summer during National Lacrosse Week. The National Collegiate Prep Preview provides a terrific opportunity for 2017 graduating seniors to prepare for their college lacrosse career and gain insight on what to expect upon entering college as a student athlete. The event will highlight the top players entering college next fall and provide coaches, players and fans a first look at rising NCAA lacrosse talent.
A limited number of roster spots will be available for this exclusive collegiate level showcase. The 2-day event will take place during NATIONAL LACROSSE WEEK at the River City Sportsplex in Richmond/Midlothian, VA, July 18-19, 2017. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend and the National Collegiate Prep Preview will be featured for all to watch.

The Texas Draw began in 2012 and in its 6th year has grown into an elite summer staple. Drawing teams from across the south central US, this event delivers the whole package inluding Friday Night’s clinic featuring 8 Division 1 coaches who will also coach both All-Star games (2021 & High School).
FRIDAY NIGHT CLINIC June 9 – 6-8 p.m., On the eve of the Texas Draw, eight Division I coaches will lead a two-hour Friday Night Skills Clinic from 6-8PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for Texas Draw participants to learn position specific skills and tips from some of the nation’s top coaches. Registration will be for individuals of all grad years. Athletes will be broken into age and skill specific groups to learn position technique to improve their game.

Over 100 boys’ recreational and club teams and 2500 youth players are expected to participate in one of most popular events of the season. The Shootout is a fun way to punctuate the recreation season. Now in its ninth year has grown into one of the largest events in the country, hosting teams from every major region in the country. The two day event combines a fun festive atmosphere with great lacrosse action. With well over 300 teams expected across 25 brackets in 2017 there’s a spot for any team of any skill level.
In addition to the fun, competitive nature of the LI Lax Fest has also has become one of the major recruiting events of the North East, with over 150 college coaches in attendance last year. The 5th annual Hershey Lacrosse Shootout for boys’ and girls’ teams on July 15th & 16th at In the Net Sports Complex in Palmyra, PA. This tournament, run by My Lacrosse Tournaments, has become a fast favorite on our summer circuit of events. Teams from all over the northeast travel to participant in an action packed weekend.
With over 65 teams expected to attend in 2017, this event provides high quality lacrosse and family fun just miles from Hersheypark, one of the top rated amusement parks in the country.
All games in this 2-day championship tourney event will take place at In the Net Sports complex (798 Airport Rd

The Patriot Games Lacrosse Showcase is held every July at venues in the heart of beautiful and historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania – a convenient forum at the crossroads of major lacrosse hotbeds, including Maryland, New England, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The LI Lax Clash is one of the last tournament weekends of the summer lacrosse event circuit. The event often draws teams from all over the Tri-State area while also pulling some of the best teams across Long Island. Teams play both days while competing for playoff and championships late in the day Sunday.

The inaugural Rivalry at the Falls, a boys’ lacrosse tournament held on the Ontario side of Niagara Falls, July 28-30.
Location of tournament:Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, 20 minutes past Niagara Falls (Ontario)
Key info for tournament: The tournament, hosted by H2O Lacrosse in partnership with Evolve Lacrosse, will be the first major field tournament in Canada. The event will be attended by top Canadian and US teams in the elite division. The event will be host to 88 teams of which 44 are from Canada and 44 from the USA. The event will be a cumulative event where the teams play for a country championship rather than an individual team one. The tournament will have two distinct levels, Elite and Club Level. This will allow players of all levels to participate in a fun and competitive way. Teams will play in a USA vs. Canada format and play in a Ryder Cup like format. Each team will play 5 games against the opposing country. There will be team party on Saturday for all participants and parents at the fields.
The tournament will have events with many features for the families attending, from touring the Niagara region with a schedule format that allows them to do that, to the event hosting a Saturday night under the Lights where the teams will watch the older kids play while there are skills competitions and events at the fields for both parents and kids. Edge and Evolve Lacrosse, two of the leading Elite programs in have come Canada together to be the anchor teams in most divisions to start to build the Canadian side. The US teams will be announced as the event progresses.
