Introduction to embedded systems

Integrated system of special-purpose computer system designed to perform one or more specialized functions, sometimes with real-time computing constraints.

It is usually embedded as part of a complete device including hardware and mechanical parts.

Embedded system is designed for specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product, or improving reliability and performance.

Physically, embedded systems range from portable devices such as digital watches and MP3 players, to large stationary installations like traffic lights, factory controllers or control systems of nuclear power plants.

The aim of the project:

The main objective of the project is to provide security. If any person entering the House, the PIR automatically feels, and sends the information in the form of SMS via GSM.

The GSM network is made up of myself, Veral functional objects, whose functions and interfaces are defined.

The current script:

Now day there are a lot of burglary is happening all over the city, the reason that the police cannot make out the exact location of the robbery, for example, if a burglary that occurred within any area of the city, the police will receive information after the incident happened, and then they can not figure out how the thieves went.

Now so many alarms and security systems appear on our markets with the use of hi-tech, but in our project we implement home automation and security systems

PIR sensors?

Passive infrared motion detector is a passive infrared sensor that controls the on/off of lighting loads when it detects a moving target.

Built-in on/off switch the connected lighting load movement is detected within the coverage area.

PIR actually turn off the lights when no one is present, and turn it on, as soon as someone enters.

It has a different function in the day time and night time.

During the day, the photocell sensor saves electricity by turning off lighting loads connected to the sensor.

On the night the connected lighting load is turned on.

The FEAST is often called "Pyro", or "infrared motion sensor" sensor.

The PIR sensor

Passive infrared sensor measures the movement of the human body to change the environment temperature environment, when the human body goes through.

Then it turns out the lighting load is connected.

Lighting load remains until it detects motion.

After the movement grabbed it turns off the lighting load.

advantages

Flexibuility technology.

It will work during the day and night.

This will be achieved.

They detect the infrared light from several feet/yards, depending on how the device is calibrated

PIR sensors were used to turn the light on when motion is detected a person.

Disadvantages

Any obstacles between the sensor and the sensor's coverage limit and do not give the desired result.

Any type of moving object will trigger the sensor.

PIR sensors can get only infrared light and cannot release it, as other types of infrared sensors.

They can be expensive to buy, install and calibrate, as well.
