One day ago The RuneScape Team released Combat Updates Free Game Changes and More Mobility Shields are great if you’re playing it safe, but if you’re looking to kick out maximum damage, you should be willing to get both hands dirty. Our latest batch of Evolution of Combat updates is themed around this simple premise.First up, we’ve rebalanced both dual wielding and two-handed damage to bring them onto a level plane. Whether you’re a dual-dagger dervish or a maul-wielding marauder, you should be doing around 150% of the base damage you’d be doing with an equivalent one-handed weapon and shield. Runescape Gold This means that both styles are equally valid ways of pumping out damage, leaving the choice down to your tactical needs and personal preference. We’ve also implemented full dual-wielding capabilities for magic users, meaning that you can now auto-cast a different spell from each hand: just right-click the spell’s icon to find the option. Have fun coming up with cruel cocktails of Ancient spells to blast and debilitate your foes! You can also wield magic-oriented weapons alongside cross-class weapons. You could wield a crossbow and a book, a wand and an off-hand sword, or any other combination you can come up with.Alongside the above changes, we’ve also switched the degrade system for the Player-Owned Ports armour sets to the one used for the armour sets available from Nex. Your top-end armour will now last much longer in battle.Runescape Gold.Look out for brand-new magic and ranged abilities, coming soon!Fremennik Sagas.
The immortal storyteller, Skaldrun, has been trapped in the frozen floors of Daemonheim for centuries. Players who free him from this chilly prison will gain the opportunity to literally step into the shoes of the protagonists of his Fremennik Sagas, and take on their unique abilities while living out their tales. Skaldrun has three such sagas heâ s currently willing to share with you…The first of these sagas is Threeâ s Company</em>, which marks the first in-game appearance of stoic Temple Knight Sir Owen, seer-sorceress Ariane, and the ever-charming, remarkably skilled and implausibly handsome Ozan (at least thatâ s how heâ d put it). Take control of all three characters as they make their way through the frozen floors to track down a dangerous criminal intent on harnessing the secrets of summoning for his own nefarious ends. This saga is completely available to free-players and members alike. In Vengeance</em>, follow the dark tale of a sole-surviving forgotten warrior as she descends further into madness, despair and fury, all the while seeking retribution for the death of her brothers-in-arms at the hands of a party of adventurers. Players will need to work quickly, as she is constantly fighting the poison in her system, as well as resisting (or succumbing to) her madness. Finally, Thok it to ˜Em</em> gives players some incredibly large boots to fill, as they take on the role of Dungeoneeringâ s very own skill master: the mighty Thok! Smash, force and headbutt your way through Daemonheim in search of your injured brother, Marmaros, using Thokâ s unmatched strength. As well as solving puzzles ˜the Thok wayâ , youâ ll also have to do battle with several of Dungeoneeringâ s bosses. All of these sagas come in both abridged and unabridged versions. The abridged sagas offer reduced story and rewards, but can be played by anyone whoâ s found that sagaâ s ˜memory fragmentâ within Daemonheim. The unabridged sagas offer greater rewards and the complete story, but require certain other skill levels to become accessible. In terms of rewards, abridged sagas offer Dungeoneering XP and tokens, while unabridged versions give rewards of XP in the skills required to access the saga (so long as the sagas are completed to 100%, with all secondary objectives found!). All sagas are repeatable, though their rewards can only be claimed once.Fish Flingers.
Fish: what do they mean to you? Perhaps theyâ re your primary source of income, having fashioned yourself a career in angling. Perhaps theyâ re your main expense, as you munch your way through death-defying combat encounters. Whatever they mean to you, there is a band of expert fishermen who are simply keen to spread the joy that fishing brings them. As such, they have opened their little-known island, Isla Anglerine, for regular ˜Fish Flingersâ fishing competitions that are open to the masses. Doing well in these competitions will reward you with Fishing XP, raw fish and tackle boxes.useful for keeping your fishing gear tidy.If you spend time around Catherby or the Fishing Guild, then youâ ll occasionally find expert fishermen wandering around, who will be happy to give you more information about Fish Flingers and teleport you to Isla Anglerine. The competitions run every 90 minutes, with the islandâ s waiting area opening five minutes before each competition starts. You donâ t need to bring any equipment, and there is no need to store any items in the bank before playing. What makes the island ideal is the schools of unusual fish subspecies it attracts. With the tackle box provided, can you find the ideal tackle for each type of fish? Should you use worms or crickets as bait? Which hook is best? How far from the shore are the largest fish? Are they at the docks or perhaps the beach?Select your tackle and cast your line, then refine your technique to land more and bigger fish than your competitors. Thereâ s everything to play for as you accumulate medals and awards for various feats. Make sure you use your time in the competition wisely, though, as to give everyone a fair chance the expert fishermen have limited each avid angler to ten competitions a week.As well as a healthy dose of raw fish and raw Fishing experience, with time, youâ ll also gain the opportunity to purchase tackle boxes, items that should make fishing trips a more organised affair.Even if your priority level is very high to join the game.
Players trying to do an emote, or trying to blow the Penance Master Horn in the arena receive the message, This is a battleground, not a circus. This could be a reference to the play Les Misérables in which the main character Jean Valjean says, This is a Factory, not a Circus. in the song At the End of the Day. Players attempting to trade with any other players in the arena will receive the message, This is a battlefield, not a marketplace! There exists a glitch in which if the player is directly between any barrier and the camera view, his or her body will appear to dissipate along with the barrier animation. Soul Wars was one of the locations where zombies would spawn during The Dead Walk events, Halloween 2011. Even if your priority level is very high to join the game, there’s a small chance you would be able to enter the current game. If you are in a game of Soul Wars or doing the tutorial for it, and you have on a helmet or hat that is tall (e.g. Helm of Neitiznot), you’ll be able to see the full helmet or hat exceeding the chat interface. If someone sits outside of the refreshment station in a game of Soul Wars with a Steel Titan familiar, sometimes their familiar will attack the player’s own team mates whilst they try to take bandages. On January 11, 2012, after an update, there was a glitch that resulted in grave markers being left upon a player’s death, and many players lost items. This glitch was patched within an hour. Strangely, ghosts have a thumb and hands, despite players only having a closed fist.(This is no longer true as of September 4th 2012) The Soul Wars portal in Edgeville looks a lot like a Pest Control portal. Despite being a minigame that doesn’t allow non-combat equipment, the pyrefiends and jellies still have a chance of dropping a spin ticket.Prior to 25 October 2011 (‘Bot Nuke Day’), Soul Wars games on official worlds would often suffer from lag, particularly in crowded areas such as the soul obelisk. After the Bot Nuke, however, lag decreased due to the reduction in bots using Soul Wars. One Soul Wars minute is around 85 seconds, or 1 Minute and 25 seconds in real time. This makes one Soul Wars game add up to 25 minutes. This is possibly because Soul Wars worlds are prone to server lag causing the timer to count down slower.Free-to-play Quest Changes.
The Swept Away and Myths of the White Lands quests have been made permanently free-to-play! These two quests were created, respectively, to go alongside the Halloween 2008 and Christmas 2008 holiday events, and were available to free-players during the two weeks of the event, before becoming members-only quests. Any free-players who missed out on the opportunity to play these quests before can now do so at their leisure. These two quests have been made permanently free-to-play to replace Sheep Shearer and Witchâ s Potion, which are now no longer classified as quests for anyone, as we no longer feel theyâ re up to the standard of other quests. Although Sheep Shearer and Witchâ s Potion no longer appear in the Quest List, adventurers can still undertake them for their experience and item rewards (by talking to Fred the farmer in Lumbridge or Hetty the witch in Rimmington).Myths of the White Lands and Swept Away will each award either 1 or 2 Quest Points, depending on your progress through Sheep Shearer and Witchâ s potion before the update. No one will lose any Quest Points due to this change.Final Week of Clan Celebration Month!.

Treasure Trails have been given an improvement today with fiendish new challenges to test even the mightiest adventurer, but also many new rewards to tempt them. You may find that the likes of Bork, the Corporeal Beast and the Skeletal Horror (among others) now have a rare chance of dropping an elite clue scroll. These clues are a step beyond what has gone before, whether itâ s a scanning orb that only highlights the next clue when youâ re standing near it, or a simple compass showing the direction of the next clue but not the distance. Even finding your next clue might not be so easy, as you may disturb a powerful follower of Guthix or end up racking your brains over one of the tricky new Celtic knot puzzles.Stick with it, though, and you may be lucky enough to receive one of the 150+ new reward items! There are new bows, Third Age druidic gear, dragon masks, animal staves, kits to improve the look of dragon armour, and items for followers of Armadyl, Bandos and even Zar- (shh!) Many of the new reward items are for the elite trails, but easy, medium and hard trails have had some added too. Weâ ve also added a mechanism to ensure that each and every treasure trail completed will reward you with at least one treasure trail-specific item, by introducing new items common to all levels of trails. The cross-trail items include Saradomin, Guthix and Zamorak arrows (which have a chance of RS Gold causing elemental damage and vanish on impact) single-use teleport scrolls to out-of-the-way places like Nardah and Miscellania stackable biscuits that each restore one Prayer Point (plus a few life points) and existing items like sweets, torn pages and firelighters. Oh, and letâ s not forget the meerkat summoning pouches, which will bring a cute little treasure-hunting familiar to your side…Finally, weâ ve introduced scroll boxes, which look different from caskets. This way, you can know for certain that opening a scroll box will always lead you to another clue scroll, and that when you do finally get a casket, youâ ll know not to open it in a dangerous area, because it will always contain…TREASURE!Free Runescape gold of rsgole website.
