JPSC Jharkhand Public Service Commission (PSC) conducts the Civil Service examination in the state of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Public Service Commission advises the government on all matters relating to civil service under article 315 of constitution of India. Candidates will be selected based on three methods. First method is both competitive examination and personality test. Second method is only by interview. Third method is only by competitive method. Then Jharkhand PSC will be selected the candidate based on the rank list. Rank list will be prepared based on the performance in the above test. Selected candidates will be appointed in particular place.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission Exam Pattern
The JPSC has three tests. First two tests is written exam. Third test is personal interview. In JPSC two types of written test are there. First one is Preliminary examination. Candidates first attend this Preliminary written test. Selected candidates then attend the Main examination. Finally personal interview was conducted by the Jharkhand PSC.

JPSC Syllabus for Preliminary Examination
Preliminary examination has two compulsory papers. One is Civil Service Aptitude Test Paper I and another one is Civil Service Aptitude Test Paper II. Paper I and Paper II has objective type questions. Paper I has 200 marks and paper II has 200 marks. Paper I and II questions are available in both English and Hindi. Paper I has 100 questions. Paper I questions are based on History of India, Geography of India, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Sustainable Development, Science & Technology,  General Awareness, etc. paper II questions are based on Hindi and English Comprehensive Skill, Hindi and English Grammer, Basic Numeracy, General Mental Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Problem Solving, etc.

JPSC Syllabus for Main Examination
After finishing the Preliminary examination, JPSC conducts the Main examination for selected candidates. Main Examination has 6 compulsory papers. Paper I is a General Hindi and General English Paper. It has two segments. One segment is Hindi segments. It has 50 marks. Second segment is English segments. It has 50 marks. Totally paper I has 100 marks. Paper II is Language and Literature. Candidates select any one of the language and literature paper from the optional list. Paper II has 100 marks and duration for this examination is 3 hours.

Paper III is Social Science (History and Geography) paper. Paper III has 200 marks and durations for this examination are 3 hours. It has two sections. Section A has History paper. History paper questions are based on Ancient period, Medieval Period, Modern Period, History of Jharkhand. Section B has Geography paper. Section B questions are based on Physical Geography, Physical and Human Geography of India, Natural Resources  of India, Population etc. paper IV is an Indian Constitution & Polity, Public Administration & Good Governance. Paper IV has 200 marks and duration for this examination is 3 hours. Paper IV questions are based on Indian Polity, Union Government, State Government, Central State Relationship, Public Administration, Union Administration, State Administration, etc.

Paper V is an Indian Economic, Globalization and Sustainable Development. It has 200 marks and duration for this examination is 3 hours. These questions are based on basic features of Indian economy, sustainable development, economic issues, Indian Development strategy, economic reforms, nature and impact on Indian economy, etc. paper VI is General Science, Environment and Technology Development. Paper VI has 200 marks and duration for this examination is 3 hours. Paper VI questions are based on Physical Science, Life Science, Agriculture Science, Environment Science, Science & Technology Development, etc.
Total marks for main examination is 1000 marks. JPSC allot 100 marks personal interview. So the grand total is 1100 marks.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission Eligibility Criteria
Candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category and specially category candidates as per the government rules. Candidate should have educational qualification as needed in for the post. Most of the pot educational qualification is candidates should have graduate degree from recognized university or institute. Physical fitness is also required based on the vacancy.

JPSC Online Application Form
Candidate should apply for this Jharkhand Public Service Examination through online mode only. Candidate log on the official website of JPSC which is www.jpscoas.sifyitest.com and select the respective notification. Then submit your online application form and Upload your photo and signature. After the application submission, computers automatically generate the Acknowledgement card. Candidate should save this acknowledgement card for future use

JPSC Admit Card
Jharkhand Public Service Examination conducts the various examinations based on the need recruitment post. Jharkhand Public Service Commission release the JPSC admit card/hall ticket for all the examination conducted by JPSC and releases admit card before 15 days from the date of examination. JPSC admit card will be released in the official website of Jharkhand PSC. Candidate should download their JPSC admit card before the examination. The admit card has candidates name, exam time and date, seat number, exam venue, hall ticket number, etc. admit card is the identity to enter your examination hall.

JPSC Answer key
After finishing the examination Answer key will be released in the official website of Jharkhand PSC which is www.jpsc.gov.in/Results.php . The answer key will be released in the separate sets like set a, set B.
