Internationally renowned techno artist John Tejada will headline the free Electric Sunset party at Perfect Circuit Audio on Saturday, August 1st in Burbank.

San Fernando Valley-based Tejada will deliver a live set and be joined by performances from Los Angeles-based Kid606 (glitch/IDM/techno) and Boyle Heights-based modular explorer M. Geddes Gengras. Twin Braids (experimental noise) and Side Brain (Ableton live hacking) will round out the line-up with DJ Turbotito (from the band Poolside) spinning in between sets.

The early evening outdoor event, which takes place from 4pm to 9pm, celebrates the grand opening of Perfect Circuit Audio’s new customer-friendly storefront, which carries a unique selection of hard to find vintage as well as new music gear, including synthesizers, pedals, software, and pro audio equipment.

“The show features live performances by an eclectic mix of LA area electronic musicians known for experimenting with a range of gear and technology in interesting ways,” says Brad Berry, Perfect Circuit’s owner. “Additionally, we’ll have the store open during most of the party so that guests can also check out the equipment in our brand new showroom while the event is buzzing outside.”

The public event features free tacos and gear giveaways from Moog, Roland, Ableton, Keith McMillen, Arturia, MOTU and Focal. Craft beers and wine will be available for purchase.

Perfect Circuit Audio is located at 2405 W. Empire Ave. in Burbank. The event is free; RSVPs on Facebook are appreciated. Performances take place in the parking lot behind the shop. For additional information please call (818) 709-1727 or visit perfectcircuitaudio.com.
