The popular museum for Toei’s past and current tokusatsu heroes closed its doors on Sunday, January 15, 2017.

Toei Hero World Namco Action Museum closed on Sunday, January 15, 2017.

Toei Hero World was a popular indoor museum in Japan for Toei’s past and current tokusatsu characters. It originally opened in December 2013 and was located in Chiba, Japan. The museum not only featured tokusatsu memorabilia, but also had interactive play areas and character meet-and-greet sessions.

The last hero greeting included Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (Level 2), Kamen Rider Black, Kamen Rider Gaim (Kachidoki Arms), Kamen Rider Zangetsu, Kamen Rider Drive (Type Tridoron Drive), and Zyuoh Eagle of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger.

On a news post on their website and Twitter account, Toei Hero World thanked fans:
