Ram Charan is an Indian film actor, entrepreneur and a celebrity. He has made his debut with the film Chirutha in the lead role which was released in September 2007. After the release of the 2009 blockbuster Magadheera, which was only his second film, Charan established himself as one of the leading contemporary actors of Tollywood. He has won two Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, two CineMAA Awards and one Santosham Best Actor Award. He made his bollywood debut with the remake of Zanjeer opposite Priyanka Chopra. He will be seen in upcoming film titled as “Rakshak”.
Biography
Ram Charan was born on 27 March 1985 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. He studied in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School, Chennai and he was brought up there itself. He is famous for his dance moves in Telugu Film Industry and he has good skills in Martial Arts. He knows horse riding well and the person who encouraged him to be involved in horse riding was Prabhu, a Tamil actor. Currently he is the brand ambassador for Tata DoCoMo for Andhra Pradesh region. He owns a Polo Team Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club (RC HPRC). He also serves on the board of directors of MAA TV. In December 2013, Ram Charan was ranked 69 in 2013 India’s Forbes list with an earnings of INR 12.67 crore.

Indian film producer and distributor Allu Aravind is his maternal uncle. Actors Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish are his cousins.

Charan got married to Upasana Kamineni, the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity and chief editor of B Positive magazine. The engagement took place in Hyderabad on December 1, 2011. Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C. Reddy, the Executive Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals. Subsequently, Ram Charan married her on June 14, 2012 at the Temple Tress Farm House. The couple later visited the Tirupati temple and had their honeymoon in Vatican City.
