There are many actors who are still waiting to get a single success in the form of a hit or blockbuster film. It has been a dream for many actors and there are some actors who are getting hits with every film they make. Getting a hit in today’s scenario is too hard as one or two out of ten films succeed. Nani, who come up with his own talent despite not having god father to care him is having a series of hit films starting from Yevade Subramaniam followed by Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Gentleman and Majnu. He is now coming up with a movie titled “Nenu Local”, directed by Trinadharao Nakkina and is produced by Dil Raju under his SVC Cinema. Let’s see if Nani continue his success streak or not as the movie is releasing into theatres today.
Story : Local boy Babu (Nani) is a happy guy and while pursuing his degree, he falls in the love of Keerthy (Keerthy Suresh), a perky and cheerful girl. Babu tries every possible way to impress her and finally he manages making her to love him. On the other side, when things seem to be going fine, Keerthy’s father (Sachin Khedekar) who is also Babu’s professor from B.Tech, opposes their lover. Keerthy also promises her father that she will choose her life partner as per his father wish. Babu tries to impress her father in order to win his love. The rest of the story is how Babu resolves all the issues and gets his girl with blend of romance, action and entertainment.
Performances : Natural performer Nani, yet again proves his talent in acting. He is so good in his comedy timing and is superb in the mass avatar. His performance makes the movie a delight watch. Keerthi Suresh impresses everyone with her charming performance. The chemistry between Nani and Keerthy Suresh are highlighted. In one of the scene, Nani addresses Keerthy Suresh as potti, is one of the hilarious moment. There is also a notable dialogue at the end by Nani which made everyone laugh , “Ee Madhya Kalam lo Local Feeling Rechagotti iddaru gelicharu, Okati Trump rendu nenu“. Andala Rakshasi fame Naveen Chandra does his role perfectly. Posani Murali Krishna provides much needed comic relief and impresses the audiences. Eashwari Rao, Sachin Khedkar and others perform accordingly.
Analysis: Overall Nenu Local is a full length romantic, comedy and action entertainer movie. Though the story line is predictable, but well designed screenplay, dialogues and presence of Nani make it watchable. Nani makes the audiences glued to the seats from the first scene to the climax. All in all, Nenu Local is a great watch for Nani’s stellar performance.
