Senior Systems Analyst (5 days/ Ubi) (TSO)
Responsibilities:
Lead a team to support system for company online portal for customers to prepare required shipping documents and payment
Provides technical expertise and integration advice to related business users and operation users.
Gather user requirements from internal and external users
Analyse, design, develop and test new application systems that meet users’ requirements.
Enhance, customise and maintain existing application systems.
Supporting users on change control and application or system updates
Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Document System Design Specifications with detailed screen layouts and program processing flow.
Documentation: System Proposal, System Design Specifications, User Manuals
Prepare and update program documentation such as function descriptions, user guide, API guide and etc.
Prepare software release document, perform software release and version control.
Overseeing implementation of new system(s) including data migration
Provide technical expertise and integration advice to related business users and operation users
Planning and working flexibly to deadlines
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisors.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
Min. 5 years’ experience in IT project management and business change
Possess experience in ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML, APIs, CSS, JavaScript Library and jQuery, SQL Server 2008 or higher, Crystal Reports, XML, XSLT or SSRS, Content Management System e.g. Drupal, Joomla.
Strong customer relationship management and vendor management experience
Proactive self-starter with an analytical and creative mind
Technical knowledge and experience in Shipping, Payment, Logistic is an advantage
Possesses excellent leadership qualities
Strong result orientation and customer orientation
Possess proactive and good working attitude
Experience in handling overseas users, customers, peers and vendors
Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Able to travel overseas
5 days work week
