OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball opened the 2017 portion of their schedule with a non-conference road tilt at Oakland City University in the Tichenor Athletic Center, The Mighty Oaks rallied to beat the Trojans in their first-ever meeting, 94-87.

WHAT'S NEXT

Trevecca heads to Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play on January 5th at Cedarville University (6-5) and on the 7th at Ohio Valley University (4-6). Cedarville owns a 5-3 edge in the series, with five of the last six going to CU. TNU leads OVU 5-1 in the all-time series, but OVU took the last meeting, also in Vienna, WV.

The first home date in 2017 is January 12th when Malone University (7-4), a new member of the G-MAC this season, comes to visit the Trojan Fieldhouse for the first time and starts a five-game home stand for the Trojans.
