The 2014 Eisner Awards were announced as part of Comic-Con, and this year was an excellent one for indie comics. Top series honors (along with writer and artist awards) went to SAGA at Image Comics and creators Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples. Best new series went to Matt Fraction’s SEX CRIMINALS.
