Hello green beauty birdies,
it’s been a few very busy last days as our up and coming brand Knot To Self reaches it’s final countdown – only 3 days left till the online store launch and it couldn’t be more exciting for us! So now, I’ve just poured myself a countless cup of coffee and going to share with you some thoughts on a very well known green beauty brand that finally made it’s way to my beauty shelf – Acure Organics. I’ve been sent a few different products from a very wide range of skin- and hair care products for this review, let’s see what we got here.
Moroccan Argan Oil + Stem Cell Shampoo and Conditioner – I am very strict about shampoo choices, because my curly hair demands some proper care. Plus, not to mention the fact, that my hair is the most important part of my body:) I took these two on our Seattle trip (catch the travel size hint), and wasn’t disappointed with this choice. This duo works very diligent on dry, damaged and curly hair thanks to it highly moisturizing and nutrient ingredients such as organic argan oil, argan stem cells, CoQ10, and organic sea buckthorn oil. Pumpkin seed oil adds natural shine to the locks. Both of these have a very tempting sweet almond scent that absolutely sure can’t leave me indifferent. Very nice performance and vitamin-rich formula, that is also vegan and sulfate free. Remarkably soft hair as a result.
Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil Coconut – you’ve probably already heard about almost magical properties of argan oil, right? Acure Organics use certified organic argan oil in lots of their products for it’s high ability to help minimize scars and stretch marks, fight lines and repair skin imperfections. It is a natural source of vitamin E, essential fatty acids and proteins. What can be better than all this mentioned above, plus a very relaxing sweet coconut scent?! Made only from two ingredients – organic argan oil + organic coconut flavor oil – this product can be use in multiple ways : as a hair serum (perfect for the dry ends!), body massage oil, repairing facial serum, hand and cuticle treatment and soothing balm for dry zones such as elbows and feet. Very light and silky feeling, I can totally see how it softens my skin right away. I will definitely continue using it on my cuticle (as for now, I do it like 5 times a day) and also I am looking forward seeing some results on stretch marks, but I know it takes time.
Speaking of body treatments, Lemongrass + Moroccan Argan oil Firming body lotion is a great example of Acure Organics body care products line. I love everything about it – refreshing citrus scent, fast absorbing and body toning formula and a very long list of natural and organic ingredients. Total stress-reliever for both body and soul. It’s unique antioxidant rich formula restores the skin and stimulates collagen production with Gotu Kola Stem Cells, Chlorella Growth Factor and Resveratrol Probiotics. Sounds complicated? These a part of Skin-Immune™ Technology created by Acure Organics. Also, cocoa butter and organic argan oil in this formula bring back the moisture and keep it locked throughout the day. I am going back to this body lotion in my skin care rotation every time I need a fast after-shower body moisturizing and need to be dressed right away, as it absorbs really quick and give me and my skin a fast energy boost.
Cell Stimulating Body Wash creates a great shower time with a sweet almond scent and nourishing elements within it’s formula – natural fruits, argan stem cells and essential oils like acai, pomegranate, olive, sea buckthorn and pumpkin seed. Safe and foamy body wash that the whole family will enjoy.
For solid bap soap lovers, Acure Organics got a wide selection of Argan oil bar soaps with different scent options. I’ve tried Cinnamon Chai Latte (my total favorite drink!) that has a super relaxing and soul soothing blend of argan oil, thyme, black tea and ginger. Nothing could beat this shower pleasure after a tiring day.
Few words about lip care products by Acure Organics. First, this Lip Lush gloss is very nice alternative if you’re looking for a moisturizing lip gloss with a pop of color (not just shade, but real, bold color!). I can’t seem to find it on the original Acure Organics website, but one of the green beauty stores I genuinely love – Integrity Botanicals – carries the whole line including Lip Lush, currently available in all 5 colors. Daang! shade that I tried is a verry berry choice – both in color (with a soft shimmer), and scent. Argan oil and shea butter in the formula of Lip Lush nourish and provide the much needed lip protection.
One of the ultimate Acure Organics products – Argan Oil lip balm in Dark Chocolate + Mint. My total flavor favorite! Refreshing and soothing, it’s formula contains peppermint, shea butter, argan oil, coconut, cocoa butter to nourish and soften the lips with a single, soft touch. Really good lip balm with a single minus – revives a crazy crave to mint and chocolate Ben & Jerry’s.
