Is the Nickelodeon, Paw Patrol - Zuma's Hovercraft Worth Buying?
One of the biggest things that the Nickelodeon, Paw Patrol - Zuma's Hovercraft has going for it is its development of problem-solving skills. Either alone or when used with other Paw Patrol characters and their transportation methods, kids can mentally construct all kinds of different situations where people or pets are in peril and need rescuing. This also is a good way to develop problem-solving skills in figuring out the different ways to resolve the hazardous situations.
As far as the hovercraft itself, it has actual working wheels that roll and turbo fans that spin. However, the fans must be spun manually by hand and do not spin from the wheels turning. This is a safety feature to keep kids from getting their fingers pinched or hurt from the spinning fan blades. The hovercraft does not float in water. It can be carried in the Paw Patroller if the fans are taken off. But there is a place in the Paw Patroller to store the fans, so this is not a problem.
One issue some users have reported is that Zuma appears to be top heavy and thus tends to fall out of his place in the hovercraft. For others, this does not seem to be a problem, so the issue could be how the toy is being used, or an actual design flaw. The problem is easily fixed by applying a small piece of Velcro to the bottom of his feet and a matching piece to the floor of his compartment in the hovercraft.
While the age recommended goes up to 8 years old, a more appropriate upper age would be 5 or 6. All and all, Nickelodeon, Paw Patrol - Zuma's Hovercraft is a great buy! Alone or when added to an existing Paw Patrol collection, it will provide many hours of play and development of skills.

Any parent of a child who likes Paw Patrol will be over the moon with the introduction of the Air Patroller. Coming with the adorable Robopup, the Air Patroller is a good size that allows 2 pups to fit in the cockpit and an additional 4 to fit in the cargo hold. It is worth noting that the Air Patroller doesn’t come with any of the notable Paw Patrol team members, but the chances are most fans will already have those characters anyway!
The design of the Air Patroller is excellent. The colours are bright, vivid, and perfectly match the team’s colours in the TV show. The flying sounds and flashing lights make for tremendously imaginative play and allow children to really immerse themselves in a Paw Patrol world. The ability to move the propellers from that of an airplane to the vertical rotors of a helicopter is a nice touch, although it is perhaps a stretch to imply that the two modes of play are hugely different.
For any fan of Paw Patrol that already has some of the individual characters, the Air Patroller is a wonderful accompaniment. Its impressive size makes it even more impressive when the Paw Patrol can all be loaded up in the cargo hold, while the spinning rotors and flying sounds are sure to delight young fans. Whether they are transporting the pups in airplane mode or hovering at the top of a building in helicopter mode, the Air Patroller is sure to take centre stage when it’s time for the Paw Patrol Pups to save the day once again!

The great features will keep your child’s imagination roaming for hours. Ryder can roll in on his ATV, head up the elevator to the command center, and use the sound effects to call the pups to duty. Who knows where things will go from there?
Cons
A few reviewers expected the pup figures and their vehicles to be included in the set and were disappointed that they are sold separately. As with any purchase, it pays to read carefully and know what’s included in the package.
